Description

The Project Status Report presents the status for a phase of a project with emphasis on reporting completion status for major tasks.  This format can be used to give status on current phase or you can expand it to include all major phases.  You can choose to modify the columns to tailor to your project.  Some managers may prefer to exclude the Percent Complete column.

This is a good report to provide a high-level summary for a team and managers.  By providing planned and actual start and end dates for various milestones from your plan, it lets everyone see if the project is on schedule
